About Arroyo Volleyball
Providing a Positive Educational Experience
The goal of the Arroyo Volleyball Club is to effectively
impact young athletes through on-the-court learning and positive
team experiences.
Our program instructs young athletes through positive reinforcement
in an effort to build the confidence and self-esteem so vital
to young people today.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive membership policy which accepts
any young person who wants to play volleyball – no matter what
their skill level may be.
The Benefits
Along with improved physical endurance and conditioning, our athletes
benefit from the enhanced social environment that comes with being
a part of a team. They also learn the values of teamwork, responsibility,
self-discipline and self-motivation.
And, of course, there's the obvious benefit -- the more you play,
the better athlete you'll become.

Who Can Join?
* Girls and boys from 8 to 18 years old.
* All skill levels and abilities are welcome!
Where?
The Arroyo Volleyball Club is based in Pasadena and has five locations
for practice and tournaments throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
When
is the Season?
November to June
The United States Volleyball Association’s Youth
Volleyball season runs from January through June, with an average
of two tournaments a month. The Arroyo Volleyball Club, like many
club programs, begins its practices in mid to late November in
order to prepare the athletes for the start of the tournament
season.
June and July
They also offer Indoor Clinics in the Summer. That
needs to be in here. We also offer summer camps on the beach to
keep our athletes skills sharp during the summer. The camp focuses
on the basic skills of serving, passing, setting, offense, and
defense. In addition to improving their fundamental skills, intermediate
and advanced players will receive specialized training in beach
volleyball.
